Démocratie sanitaire ou expertocratie ?

Nous refusons d’être gouvernés par des experts dans tous les domaines, que ce soit dans le domaine de l’économie, de la défense militaire et bien sur dans le domaine de la santé.
Ce qui se passe en ce moment est éclairant : un prix Nobel déclare qu’il faut attendre les résultats d’une étude ayant toute la rigueur scientifique d’une mise sur le marché pour un produit pourtant déjà connu pour son innocuité …. avant de le prescrire contre les malades atteints de l’épidémie actuelle ! Un autre prix Nobel déclare sans preuve qu’un virus s’est échappé d’un laboratoire (mais c’est effectivement à vérifier) …. Alors qu’il est connu pour ses déclarations antiscientifiques contre les vaccinations et en faveur de la fameuse « Mémoire de l’eau » pour justifier l’homéopathie ! Sans compter un Comité scientifique qui déclare, pour faire plaisir à un gouvernement de pieds nickelés, que le masque et les tests ne servent pas à grand-chose pour protéger la population car il n’y en a pas suffisamment, mais que l’urgence est d’organiser un soutien psychologique interculte pour les mourants …. A l’inverse on constate une adhésion de type totalitaire religieuse à tout ce que dit et a fait un professeur de médecine marseillais parce que sur un point précis il dit des choses sensées. La tendance actuelle chez les bien-pensants et pensant-bien est de proclamer « nous ne sommes pas tous infectiologues, laissons parler (et décider) les médecins experts ». Lesquels donc ?
Non justement c’est notre rôle de citoyens d’avoir une opinion sur tout et de décider en fonction des faits et des arguments qu’on nous présente, et c’est notre devoir d’exiger d’avoir à notre connaissance tous les faits et arguments. Ce n’est pas à des « experts » et à un exécutif de pieds nickelés de décider pour nous. Nous sommes tous capables par des représentants élus au suffrage universel direct à la proportionnelle (au sein d’une sécurité sociale comme l’avait voulu Ambroise Croizat) de prendre les décisions adéquates en ce qui concerne l’organisation de notre système de santé (thème que j’avais défendu dans le chapitre « Pour une démocratie sanitaire et sociale » d’un livre d’Attac, Santé et assurance maladie. Quelles alternatives au néolibéralisme ? , Les mille et une nuits, 2004).
Nous sommes tout à fait capables de comprendre en tant que citoyens tous les faits et arguments issus de ces faits. En plus, le test au REMDESIVIR, nouvelle molécule d’un laboratoire, montrerait des effets secondaires graves pour 60% des malades traités, et parait-il, ils seraient obligés de l’interrompre pour cette molécule : on croit rêver. Alors que même si la « potion » du professeur marseillais se révèlerait peu efficace, elle le sera un peu de toute façon puisqu’elle l’est in vitro ! Pourquoi donc ce blocage voulu par certains experts dogmatiques qui obnubilent et paralysent notre gouvernement de pieds nickelés ?
C’est pourquoi, la démocratie sanitaire exige des décisions de la part de représentants des citoyens élus au suffrage universel direct à la proportionnelle et à eux seuls. Nul doute qu’un tel organe réellement représentatif dans notre nation aurait pris les décisions adéquates en faveur de la population, nonobstant la position dogmatique de certains experts. Quand des gauchistes d’Attac, appuyés par des dogmatiques de la revue « Prescrire » , voulaient, dans les années 2000, supprimer le remboursement du test PSA pour dépister le cancer de la prostate, en invoquant la raison qu’il ne remplissait pas tous les critères d’efficacité reconnus par l’OMS, je leur avais répliqué qu’une instance de représentants des citoyens élus démocratiquement aurait balayé leur avis, puisque cela permettait quand même un certain nombre de dépistages.
Oui, le domaine de la santé est l’affaire des citoyens, pas de la décision dogmatique de certains experts. Ce gouvernement de pieds nickelés est non seulement incompétent mais particulièrement nuisible. Il devra rendre des comptes.
